Hi, my name is Pamela, known in my Taino community as Anikaili. I am the Founder of Yaou Yaou Wellness, an Afro-Indigenous health and wellness organization, and I’m raising funds to improve the health and safety of campesinos (sharecroppers) and indigenous communities in my village of Sonador, Bonao. Our mission is to bring hope, healing, safe homes, and access to clean water and agricultural tools to under-resourced families in the mountains of Bonao, Dominican Republic.
